Lion Growler Port

This is our Lion Growler Port, it is a 4" plastic port very simular to a Kickport.

As with the kickport the growler does not make the Cajon drum louder.

A Cajon with a Growler port, the idea is that the port helps to make your Cajon sound deeper, fatter, warmer, when using a microphone on the Cajon.

When fitted, it chokes the sound out of the sound hole and gives a more concentrated sound which intensifies the snare and bass sound.

The Growler port can be used with or without a microphone depending on your choice.

The great part about the Growler port is if you wish to remove it, it simply just pulls out of the Cajon sound hole and you have the normal sound of the Cajon.

Also you can replace it just as easily.

This port can only be used on cajon drums with a 4" Sound hole. If your sound hole is any bigger it won't fit your Cajon.
