This is the original drum, it is just an empty box on which the slaves used to bang out a rhythm.  

So this drum does not have any snares inside but still gives a good sound.

Although this drum is without snares, it still provides a fantastic bongo sound with a deep resonating Bass.

The Drum stands on wooden feet.

The drum is finished in Satin Or Gloss in natural wood Choose when ordering.

This drum was added because not everybody wants a snare fitted, and some like to stay traditional in the way they sound, so we have included this drum in our Lion Cajon lineup.

Also if you want, you can add your own snare system to this drum, with the easy to remove front panel.
